Bishonen is the Japanese term meaning "beautiful boy", usually referring to slender, not very muscular boys, although in America, the term is sometimes used to describe any cute boy. Bishonen appear in Shonen-ai manga and anime.
The term yaoi (link to pureyaoi.com) refers to more sexually explicit stories than shonen-ai.
