Connected power cable to black box...activity initiated...password required...access denied...what could this mean? What secrets are being kept hidden within? Dare I try to crack the password...that could take a very long time, perhaps it would be impossible to de-cipher the password at all!
Decide to cautiously open black box up...device contains 3 data storage and acquisition units...fairly large power supply unit...numerous cables and connectors linking to a main circuit board...on board memory seems intact...audio output board installed...several open expansion slots noted...hmm...some of these items seem familiar to me--much like the insides of this computer I'm currently operating. Would it therefore be possible to extract some of the components from MY computer, install them in this device in an attempt to further probe its inner workings? I may have to go offline for a period to achieve this.
Will carefully attempt to install additional items into mysterious black box to try to discover the meaning of this...stay tuned for updates as I continue working on this problem...assuming, of course, nothing goes wrong. Who knows what strange events might transpire in my further investigations into this odd device left sitting on my doorstep?
Still the mystery remains...who or what would leave such a device as this on a sidewalk directly in front of my home?
